Johnson Realty of St. Louis Helps Make-A-Wish Foundation

St. Louis, MO - Cheryl Johnson recently raised several thousand dollars for the Make-A-Wish Foundation's Wish Gala 2006.

"I was approached the co-chair, Missy Hill and was asked to help raise money and awareness for the event," Cheryl Johnson said. "I really dug deep and put 100% effort into bringing more money in for this great cause. We were able to secure a walk-on role in the musical "Cats" from the Fox theatre and a springtime trip to Belgium to name a few and many other gifts, all donated by prominent local businesses. Every moment was enjoyable not only because I was working with great St. Louis business men and women, but because I knew we were helping children with life-threatening illnesses and their families."

Cheryl's husband, Mike Johnson, was the sports host. Johnson is currently a commentator on the Speed Network and led his team to four Grand American Championships.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Metro St. Louis became a chapter in 1990. The organization serves eastern Missouri and southern Illinois and has granted over 1,700 wishes, and relies on volunteers like Johnson to make wishes come true for local children.
